Living on campus puts you right in the middle of the action with easy access to events, activities, classes and university resources. While each hall has unique features, all of them share the same convenience, support and opportunities that come with living on campus. Resident assistants and professional live-in staff are there to help you feel safe, involved and inspired to change the world. Explore our residence halls and find the one best suited to you. Rates vary based on room type but include room, an unlimited resident meal plan, internet and laundry.

University Apartments
If your Longhorn journey has you searching for an apartment closer to downtown Austin or a place for your family, you may want to call the University Apartments “home”. The three distinct UT communities of University Apartments are 15 minutes away from campus, where everyone is a Longhorn and part of the Forty Acres. The apartments are reserved for families, graduate students and undergraduates with at least 30 hours in good standing with the university. Brackenridge, Colorado and Gateway each have unique features, but all offer the resources of university-owned housing, including community activities and university support. Explore our University Apartments locations to find which complex is right for you.

All our housing options are exclusively for Longhorns, owned and operated by the university. No matter which of our housing options you choose, our programming is designed to meet your academic and emotional needs. We strive to offer rate and room type choices so students can find the home that best fits them. Applications for the residence halls, Dobie Twenty21 and 2400 Nueces open August 1 for the next contract year. Students can apply and move into available spaces at University Apartments year-round.
